By accessing or using the Waffle service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
Waffle generates podcasts, talks and audiobooks from your briefs, grounded in operator-managed Sources associated with a Person and spoken using a cloned voice. You can type a brief, prepare one through a short chat or call, or choose a preset. A Person represents a public figure in the catalogue. Generated audio is synthetic, not a live conversation with that person or a recording of something they personally said. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
You may be required to create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
Waffle reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Waffle retains all rights to the Waffle platform, including its software, technology, brand, and platform content. Rights holders retain their rights in Sources, names, likenesses and voices. Waffle operators manage Sources and record voice permission evidence. Availability in the catalogue does not mean that a Person personally approves each generated audio.
You retain any rights you have in content you submit and grant Waffle the permissions needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. Briefs, chat messages, call transcripts and generated audio may be stored and processed to operate the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Publishing audio grants Waffle permission to make it publicly available through the app and shared landing pages.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Completed audio starts private. Only the requester can publish or unpublish it. Publishing makes the audio available to everyone, including through discovery and shared links, and associates it with your username when present. Your raw brief and its conversation are not published, but audio can contain details you supplied. Review the audio before publishing and do not publish content you lack permission to share.
Unpublishing removes the audio from public discovery and shared landing pages. It does not recall copies or direct media URLs already obtained by others.
Report concerns about a Person, a Source, a cloned voice or public audio to founders@waffle.ai. We may remove audio, disable a Person or suspend accounts for violations of these terms.
Generated audio may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances. Grounding in Sources does not make every statement a verified fact or the Person's own words. Cloned speech is synthetic. The Service is for informational and educational purposes and is not a substitute for professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating the audio and deciding whether to act on it.
The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. Waffle does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated responses.
In no event shall Waffle be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
